You Can Return Those Lululemon Yoga Pants If It Bothers You That They’re See-Through

For those people who wear Lululemon Athletica clothes, or heck, even know someone who’s a fan of the company, you know that there’s a certain, shall we say, reputation the company has: It has a lot of fans among the yoga set. While form-fitting gear is one thing, the retailer admitted it just had to pull a whole lot of pants from its stores due to a “sheerness” problem.

Of course by “sheerness” problem, what the company actually means is “these pants are see-through and everyone could potentially see your bits.”

The Wall Street Journal says the issue is the fault of one of its suppliers made in its signature fabric, Luon. The glitch affects pants that hit stores March 1 and anyone who owns a pair of that batch can get a refund.

“The ingredients, weight and longevity qualities of the pants remain the same but the coverage does not, resulting in a level of sheerness in some of our women’s black Luon bottoms that falls short of our very high standards,” Lululemon said in a release.

This isn’t just a minor mess-up — the snafu affected about 17% of the bottoms it had in stock. Which means you should gird your yoga-loving loins, ladies: Lululemon is trying to get new stock in but there could be a shortage for a while. Hope you’re all stocked up.
