Warner Bros. Day After TV App Is Ideal For People Who Like The Only 3 Shows It Offers

Warner Bros. is betting that you really like Gossip GirlThe Vampire Diaries and The Big Bang Theory. It seems that way at least, as those are the only three shows it’s currently offering through its new Day After TV app for iOS (only in the U.S.), which allows users to watch episodes the day after they air. At least they’ve got the attention of my 19-year-old female cousin. Damon is pretty darn dreamy.*

CNET says the app was just launched this week, and while it’s free to download, most of the shows have to be purchased. The first episode of the season is available free of charge but after that content will cost you $3 for standard definition and $4 for HD.

Fans can also opt for season passes of the current seasons of those shows for prices ranging from $25 to $44 depending on the definition and show. Once you buy that episode, you can only watch it through the app itself on an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and you can’t access it through iTunes.

So basically you’ve got to have an overwhelming desire/need to watch those shows while on the go, instead of waiting for them to be streamed for free on various sites like Hulu or Netflix — or even on the network sites where the shows air.

*Damon is a vampire played by Ian Somerhalder on The Vampire Diaries and I won’t have a bad word said about him. His eyes are like beautiful blue lasers to my heart.
