Having a problem with Call of Duty: Black Ops II? Reader CL is. He was having a problem with an in-game code, so he called up the company. The call center was supposed to be open, but had closed for the day. Well, okay: the Web chat representatives should be able to take care of this problem. They can: after an estimated 18-hour wait time.

I have a faulty in game code for Call of Duty: Black Ops II and it is impossible to get in touch with Activision. I attempted to call support and got an automated message saying that because of the high call volume they closed the call center for the day. Isn’t that when you’re supposed to work?

It said try chat support. Attached is a picture of the wait time to speak to a rep.

Almost 18 hours, what’s the big deal?

Well, it could be that there are so many customers already in the call queue that they can’t possibly take all of their calls before the center closes. That’s arguably better than being on hold for hours, then getting hung up on.
