The folks at McDonald’s Canada are on a big transparency kick these days. The latest pulling-back-the-curtains video from our fast food neighbors to the north tries to dispel the idea that its french fries are made from processed potato bits.

The farm-to-fryer video below covers everything from potato harvesting and cleaning to how McDonald’s treats the fries to prevent color variation and graying.

McDonald’s Canada previously posted a clip to show that its burger patties are made from 100% beef, which is reassuring, but also shows that 100% beef can still result in a last-place burger in customer surveys.
