Re Car policy for Less…I did this exact thing when we moved in June and the company we were with raised our rates by $7 per month. Not a HUGE amount, but enough to prompt me to get some other quotes. When competitors came in much lower, I went back to my company and they would not budge – with zero tickets, accidents, anything like that – and a customer for about 10 years. I ended up switching companies, and just received a notice that they are automatically lowering my rate after being with them for only 8 months or so.
