    I have a Bob Cratchit-like budget. I wish I had a Scrooge-like budget, Scrooge was BLEEDIN’ WEALTHY.

Does anyone else think that the CNN article on Putting your iPad to work is complete nonsense?

So your $500 iPad needs to do real work, OK:
    1) Add a keyboard $100
    2) Add an external Hard drive for more memory $200
    3) Add a VGA Out adapter $30
    4) Add an external battery $80

So you are in for $910 and a small duffle bag weighing about 5+ pounds. If you were a user that regularly felt like you needed to carry all of these accessories, why not just purchase a super thin/light laptop for the same or less money, half the weight and twice the power?

STOP TRYING TO TURN A TABLET INTO A LAPTOP!!!

Exactly! People buy a tablet versus a laptop (or vice versa) for specific reasons. They could get a really awesome laptop for $900 if that’s what they wanted, but they clearly bought an iPad for a reason. Also lol @ people buying iPads and turning them into laptops. Just buy a Macbook or something if you have to have that little Apple logo.
