Oh, The Things You Can Do With An Old Wedding Dress

When Kevin’s wife left him, leaving only her wedding dress behind, he got creative with the garment, starting a blog that led to a book deal. The uses he has found for the dress are incredibly diverse, ranging from a scarecrow to a sports sign, jump rope and hammock.

Kevin lists the uses for the dress at his blog, My Ex-Wife’s Wedding Dress. While his ideas are more decorative and silly than useful, they’re still a lot of fun, and applicable not only to spurned dudes looking or passive-aggressive ways to get back at their ex-wives.

Since most wedding dresses sit around collecting dust and moth bites in closets, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t get some use as a footrest, window shade or campfire chair. For inspiration, browse this list of Kevin’s ideas.
