Amazon Unloading All Non iPhone Smartphones For $.01 (With Some Catches)

If you’re willing to sign a new two-year contract, from now until Cyber Monday, Amazon is selling all non-iPhone smartphones (read: Androids) for the low low price of $0.01. Yes, one penny. That’s also 99 cents less than $1. Though in most cases, you need to be a new customer for whatever carrier you choose.

The deal goes for Veizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint, and even applies to phones like the normally $799.99 Motorola DROID RAZR 4G.

Of course, if you don’t want to sign a new contract, then the savings won’t necessarily apply, as noted by Business Insider. Upgrading some lines seems to activate the deal, but the only way to guarantee the $.01 price across the board is by signing on for a completely new two-year agreement.

Free two-day shipping is available, but the fine print does warn it may take up to 24 hours for carrier approval before the phones ship.

But hey, this way, you won’t even have to bumrush the Best Buy early Friday morning.
