To tweak the noses of protesters involved in the “Occupy Chicago” movement, someone has placed signs in the windows of the Chicago Board of Trade that say, “We are the 1%.”

The Chicago Board of Trade is the nation’s oldest mercantile exchange.

The question is, if they’re among the top 1% of earners, how come they can’t afford better signs? Seriously, that looks like marker on scrap computer paper. I would expect the message to be spelled out in sold gold bars consisting of the melted down scrap jewelry.
