It seems the Hells Angels aren’t cool with the idea of an L.A. fashion boutique slapping its name on a t-shirt. The notorious motorcycle club is suing the designer and several online retailers for copyright infringement. The shirt in question bears the message: “My boyfriend’s a Hells Angel.”
CBS Los Angeles reports the lawyer filing the suit says even the club itself doesn’t put “Hells Angels” on clothing it sells. The aim of the lawsuit, he says, is to “get them off the market, sequester them and have them destroyed.”
The designer didn’t respond to the reporter’s request for comment.
