The Cities That Guzzle The Least & Most Amounts Of Gas

As gas prices exasperate consumers at the pump nationwide, you might be throwing your hands up in despair and grumbling about how your neighborhood probably has it the worst. A new report shows that it’s not necessarily the biggest cities that are spending the most on gas.

Forbes reports on the top 10 worst gas guzzlers as well as those cities around the nation that consume the least and therefore, spend much less on gas per year. For example: Although New York City is huge and full of people, its denizens are much more likely to take the subway than say, those living in Raleigh-Durham, who think it’s fine to just drive from one suburb to another whenever they need to.
