Tomatoes Recalled For Salmonella Contamination

Of all the toppings that go well with tomatoes, salmonella isn’t one of them. Thus, Six L’s tomato farm of Florida issued a recall of its potentially contaminated tomatoes.

The lot in question was packed April 11 and consisted of of grape tomatoes with Cherry Berry lot code DW-H in in clam shells or 20 lbs. cardboard containers. The tomatoes were shipped to North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, Georgia and Canada. Customers can return the recalled tomatoes to the place of purchase for a refund.
