Best Policy Ever: Neither The Customer, Nor We, Are Always Right

Of all the different takes I’ve heard on “the customer is always right,” this is the only one that gets it right.

Customers are fallible. Businesses are fallible. If both sides can agree to stop trying to be all imperial over the other, we can connect as humans and have an enjoyable exchange of cash dollars for goods and services.

I spotted this sign on the wall of Eataly, a 50,000 sq. ft. Italian food market and food mall in Manhattan.
