28 More Borders Stores Added To Closing List

Borders announced late yesterday that heartbreak, job loss, and terrible liquidation sales are coming to even more of its stores than previously announced, as part as the company’s bankruptcy plans. In a statement the company said that the stores added to the list will close by late May, and could start liquidation as soon as this weekend.

Here’s the list of new closings:

  • Goleta, CA
  • Hollywood, CA
  • Milpitas, CA – McCarthy Ranch Marketplace
  • Pleasant Hill, CA – Pleasant Hill Shopping Center
  • San Diego, CA -The Courtyard-Carmel Mountain
  • San Rafael, CA
  • Fairfield, CT – Fairfield Center
  • Stamford, CT – Grand Central Fashion Plaza
  • Atlanta, GA – Buckhead Triangle
  • Kahului (Maui) HI -Maui Marketplace
  • Waipahu, HI – Waikele Center
  • Wilmette, IL – Edens Plaza
  • West Des Moines, IA – Water Tower Place
  • Fort Wayne, IN
  • Indianapolis, IN – The Shops at River Crossing
  • Overland Park, KS – Regency Park Shopping Center
