Suspected ID Thief Helps Police By Posing For Sam's Club Photo

If you’re going to use someone else’s identity to go on a shopping spree, you might as well go hog-wild and hit some upscale stores. At the very least, don’t go shopping at a discount warehouse store where you’ll need to have your picture taken for your membership card.

But that’s exactly what a woman in Harris County, TX, did over the weekend at a local Sam’s Club.

The alleged ID thief is responsible for over $2,000 worth of purchases at different stores in the area, some made with fraudulent checks. But now that she decided to buy in bulk at Sam’s, the police have a better idea of who they’re looking for.
