Google's eBooks Store Is Open For Business

After several months of delay and vague launch dates, Google has finally opened up its Google eBooks store (formerly known as Google Editions).

The pricing on Google appears to be identical to what Amazon charges for the same titles in its Kindle store.

In addition to working on all Android, iPhone and iPad devices, titles purchased through Google eBooks work on the Nook and Sony e-readers (as well as several others). They do not currently work on the Kindle, though Google says they “are open to supporting them in the future.”
