Microsoft Lost My Xbox, Won't Help Me Get It Back

When N’s Halo 3 Xbox 360 gave up the ghost, he sent it in for repair, but apparently Covenant forces have intervened because now the console is lost and not even the eagle-eyed scouts at Microsoft have been able to track it down. N has been hounding Microsoft since early October but he’s no closer to bringing his Xbox back from the void.

He writes:

I’m not sure if you can help me, but I see that you have helped some people in the past with Xbox 360 issues and Microsoft.

I had sent in a Limited Edition Halo 3 Xbox 360 into Microsoft at the beginning of September 2010. It showed that MS received the console and the status has been sitting at ‘Console Received’ since then. I have contacted MS about this issue and have been told that the console cannot be located and that they are in the process of tracking it down. This entire conversation began at the beginning of October.

I have requested a supervisor to call back and this has yet to occur. We are going onto the end of November now with no hope that I will ever get my console back. I have emailed MS and they told me to use their phone service. The phone service is of no use because they cannot locate the console.

How long do you think is a reasonable time for Microsoft to find and fix a console?
