I’m interested to see which ones you choose since there have been some really terrible ones on here. What criteria do you use in choosing them? Length of time? Amount of money involved? Police intervention?
volume of comments? number of follow-up stories? volume of correspondence? how many other sites linked to the story (like Fark)?
I am surprised, but well pleased, at how this web site has influence. Impressive.
Love this show. This and 60 Minutes are my favorite TV news shows.

With the continued advancement of technology, the Andy Rooney Robot was officially retired back in 2005 and was replaced with the Andy Rooney Hologram.
Ben, ask them about their take on the government wasting millions a year on the douche-bag joke that is the TSA. Consumerist minds want to know!
What they’re not telling you: It’s part of a Bill Geist feature on the whacky world of blogging.
Ben: TSA being a joke, Baggage Handlers breaking / stealing stuff, Comcast winning the Golden Poo, and Zappos being the greatest customer service company that just so happens to be in the shoe selling business. That should kill 5 minutes of time.

CBS normally posts most of the main segments on their site sometime Sunday or Monday at the latest.
Most of us will get an hour back from the end of Daylight Saving Time, so no excuses for not watching it live.
This show, AFV, and the Simpsons are Sunday favorites of mine. Looking forward to it!

Do we know what time in the program you’re going to be on? I guess I could record the entire block and FF past whatever else is being shown.
Do yourself a favor, give the entire program a try. It’s actually quite good. Informative and entertaining. It’s a shame it’s so often pre-empted out west.
Hopefully they do a good piece, and they share some of the more horrific stories that actually got resolved as a result of being publicly outed on this website.
