Scare The Crap Out Of Your Friends In The Costume From Creepiest Snickers Commercial Ever

More than a few of you have expressed feelings of fear and horror at that Snickers TV ad we wrote about a few weeks ago. And just in time for your last-minute Halloween needs, you can bid on the actual creepy costume from the commercial.

The candy company is auctioning off the costume, which it claims is the actual leopard-print coat and mask worn in the TV spot, to benefit Feeding America, which provides food to more than 37 million low-income people in the United States.

Right now, the bidding is up to $190.00. The auction will end at noon ET on Thursday and be shipped overnight to the winner so they can wear it trick-or-treating (or just to scare the bejeezus out of their friends).

The auction is live now on ClothesOffOurBack.org

If you’ve been blessed enough to not see this commercial, here is your chance to get yourself caught up on the eeriness of it all:

I can’t look at the photo or watch the commercial when it’s on TV and we’re watching live so we can’t fast forward. We just turn and wait for it to go away. Way too creepy. I don’t even know what the commercial is about, really, only that this horrific creepy giant thing throws candy at a woman’s cart.

Is the character supposed to be based on that creepy NYC drag performer whose name I can’t remember right now? She goes around in a wheelchair and carried a baby doll… Her like name is “St. _______” I think.

Shaye St. John – creeped the hell out of me long ago and I thought the same thing. I think he/she is dead now, or so I’ve read.

I thought the commercial was excellent. Majorly creepy, yes, but still excellent.

Here’s the creepiest part to me. We are led to believe this “thing” is two young kids on top of each other shoulders. However, when it talks, it sounds like a man, not a young boy, trying to impersonate a woman.

Since we’ve already seen the face of the young boy, who else is under there?

Thanks a lot, now it’s 10x more creepier.

As if it needed to be creepier.

I thought it was a father an son? I’ve only seen it once though and I kinda wasnt paying much attention to the actors, more going “WTF is that?!”

What about the floral print dress/skirt sticking out from under the coat?

Am I the only person who is reminded of Viola Swamp from the “Miss Nelson is…” childrens books whenever I see this commercial?

Will Jocelyn Wildenstein get any royalties from the use of her likeness?

I will not sleep tonight because of that picture. Argh.

    Hahaha I love this commercial!

  13. RvLeshrac says:

Yes, because two kids in a disguise trying to finagle some Snickers for Halloween is “creepy.”

    What?

    • RvLeshrac says:

Better not watch any of those “Ed, Edd, & Eddy” episodes where they stack and dress up like adults! Especially after dark!

*spooky ghost noises* Oooooooooooooooooooooh! *spooky ghost noises*

  15. PsiCop says:

This is one of those commercials in which I have to ask, what about seeing this … thing! … on my screen, is supposed to get me to buy what they’re selling? It’s repulsive. It makes me NOT want to buy whatever the candy bar is.

  16. barcodetattoo says:

Umm..Since Snickers doesn’t have a long history of creepy commercials, why is this the creepiest “ever”?

  17. Kahn Soomer says:

This is awful but.. I can’t help thinking.. Julia Child?

  18. skormos says:

WebSoup had some dude dressed in a VERY similar mask and wig in it’s segment “Things You Can’t Unsee”. Sounds like someone decided to play a bad trick on the makers of Snickers.

  19. lstorm2003 says:

wow i really don’t get why everyone thinks this is so creepy.. what is so creepy? its a crappy mask and coat.. i don’t get it at all..
