Ugh, Yves Rocher. I paid for a shipment from them that didn’t arrive after three weeks even though all the items were in stock. When I called to ask about it, they asked me to wait another week for it to arrive. When it still didn’t arrive, they promised to replace the missing shipment. The second shipment did not arrive, either. YR refused to refund my money because they had already sent a replacement order, and they were only set up to do one or the other.

Two months after that I get a collection agency letter saying I owed YR the full amount of the replacement shipment (even though neither shipment had ever arrived and I had already paid in full with the first order and they kept my money). I called YR and they said they would resolve the issue. The next month, another letter. When I called YR, they said their records showed that I was sent a shipment that was never paid for. I escalated the issue to a supervisor who assured me that a note would be placed in my file and I would not be contacted again. I was send another letter the following month and I found the note was never placed in my file, and I was still shown as having an overdue account. Repeat in each of the subsequent three months.

I tried contacting their corporate office, to find that they were undergoing some sort of reorganization and that they refused to help with online orders. Finally they must have given up and gone away. I never did receive either the merchandise or my initial money back.

      Piss on them.
