This Saturday Boston Market is giving away free smoothies at participating stores in a few states.
The states are Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.
The smoothies appear to come in orange and raspberry flavors, limit one per customer. No word yet on whether you can get free roasted chicken toppings.

I miss the smoothies Dunkin Donuts used to make.
It doesn’t seem fair that MA isn’t one of the states having this Boston Market promotion.
Yeah, what the hell? A deal at Boston Market that’s not valid in Boston?
Since Boston Market isn’t headquartered in the Boston area, they don’t feel a lot of connection.
It was founded in Boston though…
There’s even one located on Rt. 1 N in Saugus (although that might be Lynnfield there)
Massachusetts already has Dunkin Donuts, but here in California, we have no Dunkin Donuts!!

My immediate thought: Boston Market sells smoothies?
And what the hell is with the sudden infusion of smoothies in the marketplace? Health craze? Competition? Are they even made from real fruit?
I’m going to call it healthturfing. Boston Market wants to jump on the smoothie craze because of the assumption that if it’s fruit-colored, it must actually contain fruit and it must actually be healthy.
I think it’s because McDonald’s is selling them and also fast food places are looking for new growth areas.
Those look…quite unappetizing.

I’ve had one before, and the pink one was pomegranate berry. I mean, it might be raspberry now, but two weeks ago it wasn’t in my area. I think the orange one was mango.
I liked it well enough, but it’s too expensive for my blood for such a little thing. Wish it was free in my area!

One thing wrong with this promotion–the Minnesota Boston Markets don’t have smoothies.

Got food poisoning from Boston Market three years ago. Haven’t been back since. Free unhealthy sugar smoothies won’t help.
