BBQ Safety Begins When You Don't Commit Assault With A Scraper

As an addendum to our recent BBQ safety post and, of course, a shout-out to my hometown of Elgin, IL, we ask that you not assault your fellow grillers with a BBQ scraper.

From the Elgin Courier-News:

A northwest suburban man was ordered held on $45,000 bond after allegedly hitting his boss’s cousin in the head with a barbecue grill scraper.

While we admit this may be the best sentence ever written by the Courier, we are not in favor of BBQ violence and hope that you learn from this man’s error in judgment.
