I finally got around to Playing Batman:AA last week. It is a great game all around. This isn’t just for super hero or comic book fans, any Xbox 360 of PS3 owner should give it a look. If your curious there are demos availble on your system of choice.

    • SkuldChan says:

I’m still afraid – having been burned by movie games in the past I really honestly can’t bring myself to buy another.

      • Kid Awesome says:

It isn’t a movie game at all. If anything it is more based on the comics.

FYI Mark Hamel (Luke Skywalker) is the voice of the Joker (as he was on the cartoon series as well).

Go ahead and don’t believe me on this but you’re the one who will be missing out. Feel free to check out the metacritic on this one, I’m not the only believer. http://www.metacritic.com

      • Daemon Xar says:

I too was suspicious, until I’d played it for ten minutes. It’s awesome, and not at all related to any of the movies.

  2. Lel says:

    A farting toy dog? Really?

  3. Rectilinear Propagation says:

But how do I prevent someone from buying the game themselves so that I may gift it to them?

    • Chris Walters says:

You stage a break-in at their home and steal the console and existing games. Do your best to prevent them from filing a police report or replacing anything in the next few of weeks; if necessary, sabotage their vehicle and/or phone(s).

This probably sounds extreme, but it’s guaranteed to surprise them come Christmas morning. The sheer number and intensity of emotions that you will see cross their faces will amaze you.

    • merely_a_muse says:

Our family does Christmas lists & if its on the list and you buy it you are shunned. We take our lists very seriously (okay maybe not that seriously, but its a good rule to go by). So I suggest threatening then with a wicked side-eye if they buy themselves anything someone else might buy for them.

  4. The Cynical Librarian says:

Walter the farting dog is a children’s story, not just a random toy that farts for all to enjoy.
