    I wouldn’t call four Zhu Zhu hamsters for $88 a deal…

Also, how does a iPod Touch do dictation? After 3.0, AFAIK, no third party microphone adapters will work anymore. If there is a work around, someone please tell me, because I’d love to use a mic on my Splurge.

As far as I know the only way to get a mic for your Splurge is to buy the iPhone earbuds that come with the mic. Not exactly third party, I know..

People should note that installation of the Dragon app triggers an instant upload of all of your contacts to Dragon. While the company promises that only the names, and not the contact information, are transmitted, that they are only used to improve your speech recognition, that it adheres to strict privacy guidelines, etc., this is something to keep in mind for the more paranoid out there.

    On the Restaurant.com deal, YMMV

In the 15 mile radius of Palm Springs, CA-where there is a restaurant every 10 feet, there are a total of four(4) participating. Of those 4-all will add 18% gratuity, all require spending twice as much as the face value of the gift certificate, most exclude alcohol-and of course, some restrictions do apply.

Before jumping in on any Restaurant.com 80% promotion, which is always available(different codes), research your zip code to see which restaurants are participating-and call ahead to verify the conditions! The restaurants want your business but they also want you to know about what’s required for them to accept the gift certificate for payment-learning ahead of time will save you mucho $$$ and prevent the possibility of embarrassment(like on a date).

The restaurants will appreciate your inquiry, will welcome you with open arms again and again and again……as long as you are aware of what you are purchasing using a Restaurant.com gift certificate.
