There’s a Woot Off going on today.

  2. Burning pakalolo not even noticing the weather says:

I LOVE It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I just started watching the shore this month and I can’t believe I haven’t tuned in earlier. Thanks for the deal, I am def. buying it right now.

  3. zegolf says:

DJ Hero already getting a price drop? Didn’t see THAT one coming…

  4. GitEmSteveDave_Isn'tFreshPerked says:

Get out the way, we got a woot!-Off.
We’re pigging out down at the woot! trough.
Ain’t gonna stop until the woot!-Off is done.

    • Cogito Ergo Bibo says:

@GitEmSteveDave_Isn’tFreshPerked: This one seems particularly uninspired. Right, right. I know a lot of people think it’s cool to talk about every Woot-Off being the lamest ever. I’m not saying that…not exactly. But no netbooks, at least yet. There was a television, so I’ll give them that. But I’m basically hoping it hasn’t really gotten rolling yet. My screaming monkey politely requests more netbooks.

  5. rdm says:

Save yourself a couple years of insane frustration and don’t bother with the Scooba.

    Your friend,
Someone who is on her second (warranty-replaced) Scooba and still can’t get it to work properly

Thank you for the tip. I’ve not heard much good about them, but the concept is so tempting with all the hardwood floors we have…

I have a Roomba that did okay for about a year, then the battery died and they wanted crazy money to replace it.

  6. Kimaroo - 100% Pure Natural Kitteh says:

Wow.. I hope Subtlefrog doesn’t read the morning deals today.. that Kitchenaid mixer price is amazing.

  7. NORMLgirl says:

Gotta get the Sunny DVDs. For Halloween, I was Sweet Dee from the Nightman Cometh episode! My husband was the “little boy”. Best Halloween Ever!!

  8. CyGuy says:

Amazon has great deal on a Wii + Wii Fit bundle (just in time for a [Nintendo funded] study acknowledging the health benefits of Wii Wports and Wii Fit) which nets to $40 less than I just paid at CostCo ($240, instead of $280) after inclusion of a ‘free’ $50 Gift Card.

  9. MrsWhiskerson says:

I notice that the Ann Taylor “invitation” may be “sued more than once.”

  10. zegolf says:

@Kimaroo – Fortified with Kittydus Purrularis @ Chris Walters @Applekid: I probably should have followed that up with a #sarcasm tag, or something. I’m really not surprised this is already happening, especially with the holidays coming up. Nail the early adopters, then lower the price for holiday shoppers.

  11. h3llc4t, breaker of office dress codes says:

@Kimaroo – Fortified with Kittydus Purrularis: I’m actually pretty excited for some of these mixes. I was not at all expecting Daft Punk to get on board, but they did. I played the game in Toys ‘R’ Us this week and dug it (the boy, not so much). Of course, now I have Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction” stuck in my head after not hearing it for years. I totally see how it would be obnoxious if you’re not a nerd for mashups in general, or those particular songs.

  12. Darascon says:

@zegolf: Call me when Amazon gold boxes this baby for $50 bucks like it did with the RB/GH sets. Then you’ll have me.

It’s things like this that pay off having christmas in january.

  13. Kimaroo - 100% Pure Natural Kitteh says:

@h3llc4t, breaker of office dress codes: Maybe the kid I saw playing it was “doin it rong” and I can’t remember the song now, but it was stuck in my head while I was in the store.

I think that the Guitar Hero people are doing whatever they can to grab money, and it makes me kinda sad. Mr. Aroo and I were/are serious Guitar Hero fans since the first one. They lost me with “Rocks the 80s” though. What a blaintent money grab that was.

  14. h3llc4t, breaker of office dress codes says:

@Kimaroo – Fortified with Kittydus Purrularis: My statement from Sunday:
“Well, at least there’s no DJ AM Memorial Edition. Yet.”
(I know, I’m going straight to Hell, look for me by the pit of flames.)
We’ve bought the first two GHs, the second RB and the first one’s songs, as well as a ton of DLC (Siouxsie track pack! Yay!). We gave up on most of the GH editions when we realized we were only interested in about 1/10th of the tracks.

  15. Kimaroo - 100% Pure Natural Kitteh says:

@h3llc4t, breaker of office dress codes: I might be in trouble too because I think that is funny.

We mostly stuck with Guitar Hero because we started with it and Mr. Aroo doesn’t like change very much and likes to stick with what he knows, but last January he decided he really wanted Rock Band II for his birthday.

Btw, his birthday sucks being in the first half of January.. all the good stuff is gone by then because people return the crap they don’t want and buy up all the cool stuff that is left. Anyway, I went all over town trying to find Rock Band II bundle for the Wii, and no one had it.. not one store. So we ended up with Guitar Hero World Tour. I still think Rock band II would have been more fun but oh well : /
