@katstermonster: Enough room for adults????
OMG. I wish I could justify spending $100 on this. Forget kids (which I don't and probably won't have). I want one for me!
@AppleAlex: Well, I mean, besides the attached Tauntaun head, leg, tail, and lining patterned like the innards of a Tauntaun, it is just a standard sleeping bag with a light saber pull.
@katsuyakaiba: The product description says "enough room for adults". How many and what size, it does not mention.
$100 for a sleeping bag isn't unheard of... i think i paid $120 for my Mountain Hardwear bag a few years back.
The question, however, is one of quality - is this something that i can expect to keep me reasonably comfortable for 2 weeks on the AT? or is it more of the kind of thing i'd throw in my trunk when going to visit friends out-of-town?
@MostlyHarmless: The description says 33"x67", so it will fit a small adult. My husband (5'6") and I (5'1") will both fit!
@GitEmSteveDave_Worked4TheWeekend: They have a new annoy-a-tron that, they claim, can only be heard by kids, not adults. Hilarity will ensue.
@gStein:

or maybe "AT-ST," they were at Hoth, too.
@humphrmi: That thing is monstrous. If I ever find who hid one of those damnable things in my school's physics lab then I will use them as my sleeping bag, kept warm and cozy by their innards.
@The_IT_Crone: I was going to say the same thing. I'm not that surprised that they got Lucas to agree, as long as the price was right. I would love to know how much of the $100 goes to Lucas versus making the bag....my bet $70
@humphrmi: I hid one that I got free in my office, and only half of the peopel could hear the "mosquito" tone and it was driving both sides batty, because the side who could hear it kept trying to get the side who couldn't hear it to hear it.

I signed up for their "If we ask George Lucas and he doesn't walk away laughing, we'll email you" notification on this, and I was very happy to see that George has a good sense of humor. I'm definitely in for $100. I don't carve pumpkins.
