@pecan 3.14159265: That picture looks like a 570, but its list price is higher than $399. The Amazon specs are a little ambiguous, so it almost seems like it could be any ol' 500 series model.
Either way, as long as it still comes with the 1 year warranty, it's a decent deal. That's slightly less than what I paid for our 560 during LnT's death knell.
@pecan 3.14159265: I have a 550. I thought it was an exclusive model for Costco. It is the same as a 560, it just has different things in the box.
@Eyebrows McGee (now with more baby!): Try going directly to the Amazon site, if you haven't already.
@Smashville_not taking it seriously: In their defense, Texans and Swedes arent exactly compatible folks.
@Radi0logy: It seems more likely that you would be up for it if you lived in "Hicksville." Too bad that's one of the excluded locations.
@Eyebrows McGee (now with more baby!): There were only 6 in stock at Amazon when I listed the deal this morning, and now it looks like they're all gone. Sadness.
@Chris Walters: Indeed, because I would have purchased one only if they had listed the model number with the post. I wasn't about to spend $179 on something that wasn't even on the iRobot website.
@MostlyHarmless_Under Influenza: Ah, that's why I never get sent to Sweden on business.
Wait, is there oil in Sweden?
Nope, all the oil's in Norway, and I wouldn't bring that topic up while you're in Sweden.
It's actually very central on Long Island. Named after John (?) Hicks, the founder of the Long Island Railroad.

Just a FYI, a lot of users on Amazon this morning were asking about the Roomba 550, which isn't on the iRobot website. So either it's a discontinued model or it's not a 550 and it's actually a 530 or a 560. Since the 530 is white, I'm betting it's actually a discontinued model and not a 560.
