Awesome People Film A Melodrama At IKEA

5615 views

I've long thought that Ikea would serve as an ideal backdrop for a drama of marital discord and corporate intrigue and, now, finally, it is. David Seger and Paul Bartunek created "Ikea Heights," a short film shot entirely in a Ikea store in Burbank, California. It's worth noting that this is MUCH funnier than Ikea's own Ikea comedy.

Channel 1 is the news/advertising channel pumped into captive high school audiences. It should say Channel 101, the home of Yacht Rock and the Bu (an early show made by The Lonely Island w/ Andy Samberg)

Channel 101 has a load of funny stuff on there.

This isn't really a short film, technically it is a 5 minute (tv) show for the internet. That is what channel 101 is, 5 minute episodes. The worst shows get voted off, and the top 5 get to make another episode).

That's awesome, and they no doubt took inspiration from the best "rom-com" this decade, 500 Days of Summer.

How about "Real World IKEA" that was done a few years back, "but we probably should have told IKEA."
