Just lines up with the competition. The 90 days is limited to electronics (at least that's how the article reads).

It looks like now that Sam's has cut its super good return policy that going with the retailer that has the cheapest price is the way to go now. Usually that is an online retailer, since now all retailers have similar return policies.

It looks fair to me considering the rate in which electronics depreciate after purchase. I think 90 days is long enough to return the equipment to the vendor especially when you are receiving free tech support concurrently. Hopefully after the 90 there is still warranty support direct through the factory.

Sam's was great when I bought a 50" plasma. When it died after 8 months, they took it back and gave me new one plus the difference in price.

They also honored thier in home repair warranty when the replacement died two years later.

Hmm, better drop off an application there. Might mean plenty of overtime after Christmas!
