Wow, super little espresso machine. My boss is from Europe and he's traveling to the US this summer for an extended period, and he was wishing for an espresso machine he could use at work. (Yeah, folks, I bought this for him. Yeah, folks, he's that good a boss.)

@speedwell, avatar of snark: It sounds like it's just slow, as opposed to dangerous. As long as your boss doesn't get a jet of hot steam to the face things should come out ok :)
@speedwell, avatar of snark: I have one, and I wholeheartedly endorse it. It makes my espresso, which makes me happy, which means that there's another beverage that I can enjoy that isn't the sweet, sweet liquor that blocks out the pain in my heart.

It's a steam machine, which (however nice) means ultimately one thing: burnt espresso. Coffee should be brewed at temperatures below the boiling point of water; for that, you should stick with pump-driven machines (I've had two steam machines that were really disappointing).
It's a bit pricier, but for the money you can't beat this one (I've owned two- and no, not because one broke)
