@9900dude:
Ooh, thank you for the warning. I was looking at this for making cards to throw in my manuscript submissions. I'm glad now I just went to Staples and bought ones to make at home.
@HogwartsAlum: Get professional ones made. No matter how hard you try, the homemade ones look that way. When we started our farm, my Dad's partner did homemade cards. We handed them out, and we got a very meek response. We spent $30 and got three color cards from staples, and handed those out and got a noticeably better response. Just my 2c.
@9900dude: Vistaprint's "free" business cards are infamous because they have a vistaprint ad on the bank.
The "premium" business cards are blank on the reverse side.
@EarlNowak: Thanks everyone for the info. I've checked out the detailed specs of the biz cards and they're not much of a deal at all. I'm removing it from the list and will try to keep an eye out for any future VistaPrint offers to make sure they don't make it to the Morning Deals post.
@Chris Walters: @EarlNowak: I ordered some cards sometime in late Feb from them, and for ~$9.00 including shipping, got 250 nice cards w/nothing on the back and also a free metal business card holder(I think part of my shipping was from that).
I'd say they are "deal" depending on what you are looking for at the time, so yes, buyer beware and read the fine print. BTW,I took the free card holder and hot glued some old ram sticks minus the chips onto it, and it looks pretty snazzy, if I do say so myself.
I will at some point. The place that does my work's cards might be willing to give me a discount. :)

If you order from Vistaprint, I'd give them a fake phone number and throw away e-mail address. Those guys are horrendous when it comes to spamming you and selling your info.
