Blue Redbox Experiencing A Severe Identity Crisis
Chris spotted this Blue Redbox at a Wal-Mart. Poor, confused box.

@hillsrovey: They do have some Blu-rays available to rent for $1. Most are still regular DVDs though.
@Mooshie:
LOL. This is a new type of skimmer. An actual man sits inside the machine, waiting for you to swipe your card. Once swiped, he uses a laptop computer to order merchandise.
@panzerschreck1: "The Consumerist empowers consumers by informing and entertaining them about the top consumer issues of the day."
Explain how this article fits into that.
@GC: I would think it's plausible, especially all those stories circulating around how Wal-Mart forces their suppliers to provide cheaper goods...maybe this is just taking it one step further
@mistifi: Hahahahahaha this made my day, mainly because I griped to my boyfriend about the same thing last week when we stopped at a Redbox. It should be "Se habla espanol"!!!
@kwjayhawk: Yes, I think that would be a great idea. Because if "Paul Blart" isn't there the first time you flip through, it's not going to be there the 20 other times you flip through.
It's like when I made a redbox ( [www.phonelosers.org] ) and my ex-g/f(well, girlfriend at the time) said, "But it's not red!"
@MooseOfReason: You mean his hypocritical age-old cliche opinion which provides no value whatsoever and only serves to be an annoyance in every single thread it's repeated in? How dare someone mock it!
@chocobo: Only some locations have Blu-ray, most still do not, plus you can't reserve or search for them online. My Wal-Mart recently got remodeled and now is blue like in the picture, but sadly I checked and still no Blu-ray.
