@MostlyHarmless: Why do you think they have so many refurbished Roombas? Because they break constantly and you have to keep replacing them.
@JohnQPublic: Actually the one i got was new, not a refurb. I think all the 535s are new, and the older versions are refurbs (like this one, and the ugly ass 4xx one)
@JohnQPublic: The older units didn't have the interchangeable/user replacable parts that the newer 5xx series does. So whenever you had a problem, you had to send the whole unit back. I had to send one back for a wheel sensor. So they replaced the wheel sensor, and had to sell it as a refurb, as except fot the sensor, the unit was fine.
@WearingBlue4BillyMays_GitEmSteveDave: So yeah, they basically break down all of the time.
I'm on my second 4xx refurb. I've accepted the fact that my current one will break sooner than later and that I'll have to pay the Roomba tax once again.



I get the feeling that anyone who ever wanted a Roomba from Woot has already purchased it. The may as well rename that place roombaoutlet.com.
