Free Food From Pizza Hut Via Twitter And Facebook

5392 views

The new Pizza Hut social media intern has her first assignment, and it's to give out codes for free stuffed pizza rolls to the company's followers on Twitter and Facebook. Let's hope they've planned ahead better than KFC did. [Mashable] (Thanks, David!)

Funny how I still don't want anything from
pizza hutt, even if it is free. Yuck.

Oh well, i signed up for twitter just a few days ago to pile on the hoekstra meme... might as well get some food out of it...

@Mark 2000: I disagree, I like pizza hut- though I've had some way better local pizzas.

I like Breakdeaux pizza and then Casey's pizza the best. I'll pass on the free HUT.

I thought it was "The Hut" not "Pizza Hut". I'm confused by all this non-rebranding!

although, I know one of my drivers will now INSIST that we carry pizza rolls because they are doing it.

I thought it was just The Hut now?

@I Love New Jersey: It didn't take too long for the obligatory "I'm too high-class to eat where millions of other people eat" comment.

@MercyEleusis: I guess that makes me but a peasant. Mmmm... pan crust meat lover's....

@Christie Williams: nevermind. sorry.

After working for Pizza hut for 7 years....I can honestly say you couldn't pay me to eat there again. Yikes. Oily...

Free food! That's the best especially with these difficult financial times. As a college student I am looking to save money in every facet of my life. I often buy gift cards at discounted prices as a way to save money at places I usually spend money at.

Can I get the pizza rolls stuffed into the crust of a pizza? That would be AWESOME.

@Mark 2000: But if you got something for free at Pizza Hut wouldn't you say it was worth every penny? And isn't that what Consumerist is all about?

user-pic

Oh no. I'm not falling for this. It's too hot to stand in line for hours just to have them make me buy a drink!

@I Love New Jersey: Pizza Hut Pizza is fast food pizza. Never consider it in the same league as real NJ/NY style pizza.

That said I dig the original pan pizza only because that is the only pizza you could get 35 years ago outside of the East Coast and before the Domino's creep. That and it was a special treat for my family to go into the dark, air conditioned restaurants while auto camping across the USA in an un-airconditioned car. It was a good change up from the bolonga sandwiches we otherwise ate all the time...

Just say no to Yum Brands

@I Love New Jersey: Yes, and I happen to make it. Admittedly, I can't bring myself to eat it either, but that has a lot to do with gluten intolerance.
