The Onion had a print edition? Is that a joke?

@IfThenElvis: Nope. They're all over D.C. Makes for a decently quick read on the commute.

@IfThenElvis: Nope, no joke. They're given out in free newsstands all over LA.

Nope. No joke. Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison and Denver-Boulder. They also sold the print edition to subscribers for a number of years.

Maybe they could keep it going on a subscriber basis? I managed to convince an elderly friend of the family without a TV that it was a real news magazine, that's probably why he got shipped off to that home. Good times.

Aw, getting the print edition is one of the best things about living in a fancy city.

OH NO, THE INTERNET IS KILLING SATIRE!

(see? not really)

Dammit! Yeah, I didn't know this existed until I moved to San Francisco. I thought it was just a website.

So sad, since the print Onion has to be more profitable than the San Francisco Chronicle. Even if it makes $0, or loses a million dollars a year, it's still better than how much the Chronicle loses.

Noooooooo! The print edition of The Onion was one of my favorite things. So sad.

@IfThenElvis: They were in print before there was this Internet thing.

Good jab at the newspaper bankrupticies. Could probably be their cover story. Since they already have a book, the onion should print a newspaper just for the punchline.
