Does anyone still use Norton AV? Last I saw it used so many system resources it slowed a Duo Core system with 4Gig of Ram to a crawl during scans.

Any hints on an affordable LCD monitor, preferably 19" or larger?

Looked on newegg and saw some great deals on 22", just seeing if anyone else knows anything.

The TiVo is a good deal, but be aware that the Series 2 DT TiVo does not support OTA antenna broadcasts and will not work with the DTV converter boxes - in order to use it you need either cable TV or a satellite.

@Oranges w/ Cheese: Dell had a 20" model for $109 yesterday according to Buxr, but I just checked and it's up to $129 today. Still not a bad price, though.

@Audiyoda: My employer does. No amount of supplication can convince him to switch.

For two years I've been trying.

I'm not sure what Musician's Friend means by "up to 96% off." I sorted their clearance items by largest % discount, and didn't see anything even 90% off.

@Audiyoda: It came on my one "store brand" computer that I got for my grandson... took me about two days to get rid of it and replace it with a better AV program and most of that two days was spent trying to get rid of all the stubs of Norton's that were left under the uninstall and kept anything else from working.

@Oranges w/ Cheese: Tiger Direct was running a 19" for $89 for a while. Don't know if it's still available.
