Anyone know a place that sells glasses w/o a prescription without a prescription? What I mean is most places won't sell glasses w/o a prescription, but I'm looking for just accessory glasses that aren't corrective, but make me look better.

@LawnTractorJockey_GitEmSteveDave: You mean you want frames so you can pretend to be Clark Kent?

@Kimaroo: Not really. Sadly, I was cursed w/20/16 vision which has now slipped to 20/20 as I approach my third decade on the planet. I don't "need" glasses, but many of the female species has said that I look good in them, so I'd like a pair of opticly clear w/transition if possible so I wouldn't have to deal w/wearing sunglasses all the time.

@Chris Walters: I'll only be able to pick up flappers w/those glasses. Unless I say the magic word!

@OMG! StopIt!_GitEmSteveDave: I'm pretty sure they could do something like that at a place like Lensecrafters or other such place if you ask.. Especially since you want transitions with it.

Lots of people wear glasses just for fashion.. so I'd imagine they could do it.

@OMG! StopIt!_GitEmSteveDave: You could check out the reading glasses sold at drugstores. They come in strengths as low as +0.25 or +0.50, some of them have nice frames, and they usually cost around $20-$30.

RiceSelect brand rice (the 'TexMati Rice' folks) has a downloadable/printable coupon for $2 off any of their varieties of rice. Expires 12/31/09 - and I don't see any restrictions from using multiple coupons - though your local store may limit you to one per visit.

Happy saving!

@Kimaroo: I'm looking for cheap, so I figured online would be the best bet.

@kjherron: I need NO magnifaction. I'm 20/20, so these are for looks and possibly dramatic flair.

I understand you are taking this seriously,
::whips glasses off::
but how about VERY seriously?

@LawnTractorJockey_GitEmSteveDave: glassyeyes.blogspot.com might be able to give you a lead. If you're going for cheap, they are the king of inexpensive online eyewear reviews. Someone on there might be able to help you out.
