those lcd deals aren't too bad, but if you're shopping newegg, take a look at samsung's b550 series. i have an a550 in my house & it's freakin' amazing. they don't make a 42" (like the lg), but the 40" is ~$940 & the 46" is ~$1250.
the lg is sporting a better response time (4ms vs. samsung's 6ms), but in my shopping experience, i noticed the lg's don't display motion as well as the samsung's do.
it looks like newegg also has a 52" sharp aquos for $1349 until 5/13. i had one of those - not too shabby of a tv. the samsung's much better though (imo).
Diabetes monitors, free after rebate? Please. You can go anywhere and get them for nothing when you buy a pack of test strips, even if you don't have insurance.
My insurance even replaced mine free so long as I chose one of the ones on their list. I researched their listed models, and one was the smallest and most accurate monitor tested.
@speedwell, avatar of snark: or, you can go to your doctor's office anfd get one free. or call the company and ask them for a free meter - they make all of the money off of strips, anyway (i think my Freestyle Lite test strips are about $0.90-$1 each, before insurance. with insurance, they're $0.08 each)

Awesome! Snakes on a Train is on sale! I've been waiting for it to come down in price.
But they DO have Kids In The Hall on DVD, which is piquing my interest. That w/Brain Candy would make for a fun marathon.
