YES! Yet another use for my hot glue gun. Is there nothing it can't do?
I made some homemade bath salts one year. It was cheap and a lot of fun without a ton of work. Plus you can decorate the jars any way you want, for an extra personal touch.
The people need to rise up against these Hallmark holidays and not participate in these exercises in spending. There is no need to give into the Greeting Card-Gift-Florist Complex anymore!
The flip flops is a great idea! Especially for my girlie-girl sister. I will definitely keep that in mind next year for my nephews. I took them to Color Me Mine over the weekend to make something for my sister and my mom and buying all the pieces plus a sitting fee charge definitely added up. We had a blast, but I think a trip to Michael's could accomplish the same thing much more frugally.
