    Woo hoo, new shoes!

    The Nokia E63 only supports data speeds up to 384kbps. It does not support HSDPA, which is what most people mean these days when they say “3G”.

    The Newegg printer/monitor combo is a nice deal… but it’s an 18.5″ widescreen monitor.
    That’s a fail right there, you’re looking at a max 1360×768 resolution, which is pitiful, but normal, plus it’s glossy so HELLO GLARE.
    Widescreen is useless under 22″. You need at least that to pull of a good resolution (1680×1050). You’ll get the vertical size of a 19″ standard display, with extra on the sides.

    I guess if you need a monitor and a printer, I couldn’t hurt, as it is free. However, I’m not in the need for both. Had it been a 19″ square, I may have considered it, as I’ve been meaning to replace my 17″ with something more in line with my primary display.

    The 15.6″ is almost a better deal, the small size gives it versatility that a larger monitor lacks. I could see that sort of thing being mounted, say, under a kitchen counter with a small keyboard. If we didn’t have a spending freeze at work, I would actually pass that on to my boss, we’ve got plenty of places we could put them into use.

      @Brain.wav:

      It’s a Xerox printer, which are SUCK to service. No one services them and Xerox wants lots and lots of money for parts. We had one at work that died and it was a nightmare trying to get it serviced. We replaced it with an HP.
