Slightly off topic, but "dine-in or carry-out only" confuses the crap outta me, is there some other option that I've been missing all these years?

@Radi0logy:

It means the offer is not available with delivery.

@Radi0logy: Here's the bird's-eye low-down from their site: "Available for walk-in orders only (dine-in or carry-out). Not available for delivery or drive-thru."

@bxbrett: They deliver? Huh. I did not know that.

One of these days, chickens, realizing their sorry state, will organize. Then you know what'll result? Chicken Flu Pandemic, with the rallying cry, "Rise up, knobby-kneed brothers, we have nothing to lose but our feathers!"
Then we'll pluck them. And deep-fry their leaders to a delicious, crispy golden brown.

Wait, where was I? Oh yeah: Thanks El Pollo Loco. Thanks a lot!

@Radi0logy:

Here in Los Angeles many of their locations do offer delivery service at an additional charge.

Good to know! Thanks!

They will now be set upon by my FB friends. heh

@Radi0logy: ...Chicken suppositories haven't reached your market yet?

user-pic

@Trai_Dep: Oh god now you got the image of Martha Stewart on South Park squatting an entire turkey into her rectum. It'll be at least an entire day before I get that image out of my head

user-pic

@Radi0logy: Martha's gangsta, tho. She does it while they're still alive.

Dine-in or carry-out only?

Aren't those always the only choices?

I went to it. Sad to say, I was disappointed. The line was pretty long, the people waiting had smug attitudes, and the food was...Whats the word..Soggy, bland, tasteless.

All they gave us was a two-piece, leg and a thigh, and two tortillas. Far from filling, and they asked me twice if I wanted to add a side for about a dollar. I was also asked to pick up an order for a co-worker, but they would only give me one.

If they were doing this to generate business, it wasn't successful. Merely a teaser to buy more food, I can say that this did nothing but waste a few hours of my time..And there aint no such thing as a free lunch (If you want to call it that) ;)

Oh, and the orders were given in Really big styrofoam boxes. Not good for the environment, shame on you!!

@riverstyxxx: At least it beats the microwing they offered up at KFC, eh?

Chicken and a tortilla? weird.
