Given the problems with rebates widely documented by sites like... uh, well, like Consumerist, why do they still show up in the Morning Deals roundup? Consumerist should take it's own advice: unless it's still a good deal even without the rebate, don't list it.

I think you have to be a B&N member to use that code, but I'm not sure. I've been a member for years so I don't know of any codes that can be used without a membership.
