I think you have to be a B&N member to use that code, but I'm not sure. I've been a member for years so I don't know of any codes that can be used without a membership.

That Ann Taylor deal is a pretty good deal! I may take that offer...

What about guys who have/choose to wear the skirt in the family? Do they get a cone?

user-pic

@SpongeSteveSquareDave_GitEmSteveDave: Even without a cone, they'll still look fashionable!

It's Free Cone Day (4/21) at Ben & Jerry's. Oh, my diet....

Read the reviews for the Max-V Guitar for Nintendo Wii at Best Buy. Why is Consumerist promoting a deal for a product that already has really bad reviews?!

user-pic

@jplanet: The deals posts are just lists of stuff that's on sale. They aren't endorsements.

@jplanet:
Just to annoy you. looks like it worked.

Free Cone Fail:

So this free cone day... Do you still have to pay for the ice cream?

user-pic

sweet, free cone day :D

I just rounded up a few folks in the office and walked over to Ben + Jerrys, they were all pumped to find out about it too ...

Given the problems with rebates widely documented by sites like... uh, well, like Consumerist, why do they still show up in the Morning Deals roundup? Consumerist should take it's own advice: unless it's still a good deal even without the rebate, don't list it.

Wow, it's almost exactly 3 years to the day since Consumerist ran an article that began, "Rebate deals are often conspicuously absent from our Morning Deals Round-Up": [consumerist.com]
