I don't see how the iPhone is any great deal.

Total cost of ownership absent of taxes and fees is $1780 instead of $1880, a 5% discount for a refurbished product. How is that a deal?

Secondly, this deal a pretty constant on AT&T's website nothing new, wild or novel.

Consumerist used to post deals from Slickdeals as well but I've noticed in the past few months they avoid linking anything to slickdeals - Anyone know why?

Dude. $100 is $100.

You can certainly find a 46" 120Hz 1080p LCD TV for less than that -- I paid $500 less for the Sharp Aquos version on sale about six weeks ago. I don't doubt the Mitsubishi is better, but I doubt it's 36% better.

That is the question I am posing. I don't believe that deal is really a deal worth noting, especially since it is common enough to not really be a deal, but the on going price, thus not a deal.
