Title: "A drip, dropping? A drop, dripping?"
Caption: "I bought a Speedlite flash with my camera, but have always been intimidated by it. Tonight I faced my fears and attached it to the camera and then stood in the dark by the sink and used it strobe-like about 10,000 times until I was almost blind and I finally captured a drop of water falling from the faucet."

I really like cold hard cash...

but is that a cross breed filet of fish and cheesburger???

good god.

@ben gardners boat: It looks like they were trying to make a McGangBang, but they did it wrong.

user-pic

I voted for the burger, if only because I'm hungry

user-pic

Heh. I think I've been to the McDonald's where the McSurf'n'Turf was purchased.

user-pic

@ben gardners boat: McDonald version of surf and turf?

user-pic

What happened to the "1 cute chick per week" rule? I miss that.

user-pic

I voted for the drip. Go chaos theory! You'll never get the same drip or drop twice, no matter how hard you try.

user-pic

The drip!
Although that condensation is looking pretty sexy.

Maybe I'm just thirsty..

user-pic

This was a really great week for pictures... did people suddenly get more creative, or did everyone lose their jobs and come up with extra spare time?

//Note: I am not suggesting that losing one's job qualifies you to take good pictures.

user-pic

It's macro week on the Consumerist!

(All beautiful photos, BTW.)

user-pic

@cabjf: more like surf, turf, n' burf.

user-pic

I love the drip photo. The slight hint of green along the faucet from a reflection makes it even better.

user-pic

@Cattivella: i'd never heard of a speedlite flash before. must investigate. very cool indeed.

user-pic

@DoubleEcho: It's not wrong because they used the fish, it is just called a McSurfnTurf instead.

user-pic

I went with the condensation photo, just because I like stuff like that.

user-pic

I don't think it is fair to have more than one photo from the same photographer.

user-pic

I definitely have been the Gahanna McDonald's that the McSurf'n'Turf came from. I am confused by the apparent sunlight in that picture...I am more accustomed to our overcast and dreary weather.

Yeah...we love our fast food here in Columbus. Aw crap...I kinda want some Taco Bell now...look what you've started.

user-pic

@Frank Murphy: I dunno about fair but there's lots of photos out there. More variety would be good.

user-pic

We now have an answer to the questioning statement that we've all been asking/rapping/inquiring:

"I wanna know where da gold at!"

user-pic

hey all, thats my pic of the Mc Surf & Turf...I wanted to mix it up from the other ones on the net but decided to keep it simple. A friend and I have been talking about it for weeks and I finally decided to go big with it! It tasted great!!!

user-pic

@joe spoon: I think the women deserve equal time, and they should add one hot dude per week too.

And no, there's nothing wrong with that.

user-pic

@dclamster:

Taco Bell may be my next shoot. mmmmmmm grilled stuffed burrito. It was really nice out, enjoyed the mc surf & turf on the red picnic table in front. Everyone who drove by was looking at me like I was crazy, oh well.

user-pic

There may be more gold in those crayons than there is in fort knox now.. :-(

The drip makes me want to write zen poetry. How's this?
