Catch Ben & Meghann On Nightline Tonight Re: Domino's Videos

9662 views

Meg and I are slated to be on ABC's Nightline tonight, talking about those skanky Domino's videos. I'm getting really good at typing "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" for the B-roll.

They should be in jail...not TV!

user-pic

Make nice smiles for the cameras, you deserved this!

user-pic

I can speak for all of us when I say - if Meg is on we'll definitely watch!

user-pic

I think the question on all of our minds is: "Will you be wearing lab coats?"

user-pic

@Josue Ramirez: Ben and Meg are going to be on TV, not the Domino's people.

user-pic

@Josue Ramirez: lol, reread the first few words of the post

user-pic

Actually, I'll revise my previous post. We have two questions on our minds:

1. Will you be wearing lab coats?

2. When the heck is Nightline and on which channel?

user-pic

@Josue Ramirez: And lock up Chris and Carey with them!

user-pic

I'll be watching.. You better say my name right.. It's Mr. not Ms. LOL Emily fixed the article on adage.

user-pic

@pecan 3.14159265: A tear just rolled down Ted Koppel's cheek.

user-pic

@Josue Ramirez: Ahhh facebook commenting. Giving a megaphone to the mentally retarded.

user-pic

@Darrone: I was just about to say "Enter comment about crappy Facebook commenting here _____" and Darrone beat me to it.

user-pic

maybe you can play David Cross' McDonalds minimum wage speech . (not that I agree with what they did), but people who eat that s#/t should get "something" for supporting such places.

user-pic

I'll be glad when this is all over, that picture of the guy sticking food up his nose is disgusting. I'll be watching tonight though!

Wow, I know some people don't like the donation videos, but isn't this taking it a little too far?

user-pic

@downwithmonstercable: I just picture him sticking a pepper up there by accident and running around crying, screaming "get it out, get it out! It burnzzzzz".

user-pic

@Raekwon: complaining about the complainers.... Touche....

user-pic

@Darrone: No I meant I was going to make the same complaint as you. Nothing against your post.

user-pic

@AutoTuneShouldBeACrime_GitEmSteveDave: Yeah, I think a peppercini would be the last thing I'd want to accidentally snort up there.

user-pic

@pecan 3.14159265: Since you are representing this community it is strongly encouraged that you wear the official lab coats.

user-pic

@Josue Ramirez: I thought the same thing. I saw the picture and scanned the last half of the headline, "On Nightline Re: Videos." My brain didn't believe it though, so an actual read through quickly followed.

user-pic

Meg, you seem a bit stiff on camera. Might I suggest a couple shots before you go on air? Oh, and I'll go ahead and pledge $20 for each one of you wearing a "Consumer Reports" Lab Coat!!!

user-pic

@Darrone: Wow...you're not on Facebook so you're soooo awesome.

user-pic

@Darrone: "Giving a megaphone to the mentally retarded. "
That... would be hilarious in real life.
Online? Not so much.

user-pic

Wow, so Nightline is finally doing an expose on the questionable tactics of the Consumerist's journalists.

user-pic

@whyerhead: Are you going to watch while emjoying a delicious free pizza?

user-pic

@Crabby Cakes: Haven't gotten the coupons yet, so no. I'll probably be enjoying a nice cold beer though. :)

user-pic

@whyerhead: I'll raise a glass of cheap wine to that!

user-pic

Has anybody picked up on the fact that Kristy Hammonds is a registered sex offender?

Check her picture here, http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/16/business/media/16dominos.html and then compare it to the NC sex offenders database.. http://ncfindoffender.com/details.aspx?SRN=016454S11

user-pic

Let's hope they actually ask you some good questions, like how does corporate America deal with the impact a couple of doofuses can have on a billion dollar company.

user-pic

I guess they already interviewed you, but I think it would have been interesting to discuss that there really isn't going to be any penalty for what they did.

user-pic

@Coop: Yep. Two felony counts of food tampering, and Kristy's a registered sex offender!

user-pic

That picture of Michael (is that the gentleman's name?) honestly disgusts me. I am eager for this story to die out because of that alone.

I am glad they are both getting what's coming for them.

user-pic

Glad to see the consumerist and staff to get some national exposure/recognition .

But I don't won't those 2 clowns to give all the juvenile petty clowns any ideas by incidental exposure . I tell you , these two butt plugs got caught it's all the ones that don't and that don't want publicity that pull this crap .

I hope it is emphasized that these 2 are being charged with a felony and not just health code violations .

I'm sure Ben and Megan will represent the site well . Good Luck !

user-pic

That picture of the Dominos moron nauseates me every time.

user-pic

@RodericaAmphiaraus: Yeah, that came out about a day after the whole thing blew up.

user-pic

@twophrasebark: There won't be any penalty whatsoever? How can you be so sure?

user-pic

Good for you Ben, especially since you didn't have anything to do with tracking them down. It was a couple of readers of this site. I sincerely hope you credit them.

user-pic

@JGKojak: Not to diss the lovely Meg, but I don't actually think all of us swing that way.

user-pic

Will the good people behind The Consumerist have the video link posted tomorrow? Pretty please??

NOTE: I ask without knowing if Nightline actually even posts videos online....

user-pic

ew...she had relations with a 14 year old girl. OMG nasty.
