@MooseOfReason: Yep. For instance, Target always has free shipping for orders over $50...but I just bought something for less than $30 and certainly was not willing to shop around for another thing to buy (that I didn't intend to buy) just to save the $3 for shipping.
Speaking of shopping around, the daily deals here lists a wired xbox 360 guitar for like $14, but you can get a wireless les paul for $20. slickdeals ftw
However, on some websites, the item will certainly be cheap enough that even with shipping, you will spend less money than somewhere that offers free shipping.
Always shop around.
