WOOT!-OFF!!!!

I'm pissed I missed my green laser pointer and Homer USB hub, AGAIN!

user-pic

Yeah, that mini is gone, baby, gone. Too bad, I've got a sibling that could have totally used it.

user-pic

That Lynn's Valentia thing is a pretty good price - anyone have any information regarding the quality? I'm getting married in October, would be nice to not have to register china and get other stuff

user-pic

@Radi0logy: Don't get married! haha.

Anyway, my parents had a set of this, pretty nice stuff. I recommend it for the price.

user-pic

I'd recommend leaving the restaurant.com off your deal of the day radar. They basically lie to you throughout the site and give you a very hard time getting your money back.

The 75% off that you're getting is 75% off the price to buy a coupon NOT a gift card. So you're paying money to get like a buy an entree get and entree free coupon. Could it save you some money? Sure, but they misrepresent what they are selling and that rubs me the wrong way.

user-pic

Amazon's DVD sale has some Adult Swim stuff in there. Nifty.

@Radi0logy:

If you like it, go for it, however I just want to point out that it says it's not microwave or dishwasher safe. That's a deal breaker for me.

user-pic

@pezstar: Well China, if that's what it really is, is not usually dishwasher safe anyway. Now, if she is planning on using these as her day-to-day, most definitely a deal breaker.

May I suggest, Radi0logy, you look at Correlle brand as a day to day dishes option? I have a set that belonged to my grandmother - and while not stylish as they're from the 70's - I've only had one dish break. And my roommate in college dropped one on the tile floor and it did not shatter!

user-pic

I may get that peel. It's certainly appealing to me. ;)

Not as nice as Emma Peel though ...

user-pic

@Oranges w/ Cheese: "He" not "she", tyvm :P Thanks for the other suggestion, I will look into it

user-pic

Why post the Restaurant.com 'coupons'. There were numerous previous posts about not being ablet to redeem them or, if you can, you usually have to jump on one foot and rub your head while singing the star spangled banner.

They are a ripoff.

user-pic

@battra92: Just ordered it! I've always gotten the pre-made pizza crusts from the store before until recently. I went with the fresh ball-of-dough version and realized too late I didn't have any way to get my pizza onto the hot stone.

So this has been on my list.

user-pic

Stupid Jc Penny deal did not give me free shipping ...

user-pic

@battra92: Sassafras 14" Wood Pizza Peel

I thought that was just a random bunch of words.

user-pic

Need a peel.

Thank you sir, may I have another?

user-pic

@SulochBrinston: Restaurant.com users pretty much know what they're getting into when they buy the certificates. It's a good deal as long as you do your research and make sure you know about the stipulations, and it helps to check ahead of time at your favorite restaurants to make sure they accept the certificates.

user-pic

@SulochBrinston: I used to use the Restaurant.com coupons in San Antonio. The deals were better then here in Austin, where most offers have a $40 and up food purchase requirement, not including alcohol, to redeem that $25 coupon.
