    Re: Walgreens – From the site where the deal was posted:

    Update: I guess Walgreens caught onto it and are now limiting orders to 2 per size (see recent postings). You can still use the coupon ‘CLOVER’ for 17% off any online purchase, and check out their weekly specials [www.walgreens.com] or clearances [www.walgreens.com] – some good deals on child pain relievers and other stuff that could get you up to the $50 for free shipping

      @chiieddy: Don’t even bother trying to buy the diapers, they are ALL SOLD OUT. All I get are errors to remove them from the cart. :(

      Man, had my debit card out and everything. F*ckers.

    Where’s the PC deal from? Doesn’t sound like a bad deal.

    • ovalseven says:

      @Brain.wav:

      Yeah, I’m interested in the PC too. As long as the rebate looks reputable.

      • Brain.wav says:

        @ThatIdiotJeffrey_GitEmSteveDave: Thanks. Only VGA out though… I was thinking of using it for a small media center PC.
        I guess with those specs I probably wouldn’t be pushing HD video too well anyhow though.

        • SpaceBat_GitEmSteveDave says:

          @Brain.wav: Is that a PCI/AGP slot at the top of the board? You might be able to up the video card.

        • SpaceBat_GitEmSteveDave says:

          @Brain.wav: Also, according to the description of the onboard graphics:

          If you want to watch video on your PC, then utilize Intel GMA 950 graphics for smooth video playback, native 16:9 format support for wide screen flat panels, motion compensation for smooth DVD playback and support for popular HDTV display formats. The media experience is even better when your PC also includes

          [www.intel.com]

          And I just realized that the slot at the top is probably for memory. It’s still early and my coffee didn’t kick in.

    The Finish line New Balance deal is dead too.

    Here’s the link for the PC. Found it in the source code:

    Man, when I saw that NB deal, I nearly soiled myself. And then I saw it was dead. Bah. :(

    @undefined:

    It’s a Newegg deal, just go to Newegg and search for it and it pops right up.

    I was going to suggest the Epocrates software to my brother since he’s in med school, but his school isn’t listed >:-(

    • ugadawg says:

      @theblackdog: You might suggest to him Micromedex. He can still download Epocrates and use it for the drug information. He will have to pay to unlock the diagnosis tab. Still for a locked down app it’s pretty sweet.

  8. mac-phisto says:

    @Brain.wav: on-board video means your processor speed is reduced also. it looks like there’s a pci slot in there, but i can’t see how you would hook a video card into that.

    this would make an excellent network backup storage solution, though. provides loads more functionality than a NAS device for only a little more money.
