    American Airlines has lost my business. After arriving at the airlines over an hour before my flight, they told me that they couldn’t check my baggage because it was too late. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor and they told pointed down the airport at a crowd of people and said a supervisor might be somewhere over there if you want to try to find them. After I was told to wait on a 40 minute line if I wanted to make speak to a supervison. I did wait on it and missed my flight. When I got to the front of the line I was told that I would have to come to the airport at 3 in the morning to try to be placed standby on another flight. And if I wanted to speak to the supervisor I would have to go over “there” with the againt pointing to an anonymous place somewhere through a crowd of people. I walked over in the general direction and waited and I was told that I would have to call the 800 number if I wanted to speak to a supervisor. When I called the 800 number, they told me that I had to speak to a supervisor in the airport. When I told the person on the phone that I was going to take another airline, they told me that it would invalidate my return ticket. No where on the website did it give me that information when I purchased the ticket.
    The phone agent then hung up on me.
    I wrote AA and their first reponse was only directed to my luggage. When I wrote back complaining that they completly ignored my complaint of the inability to speak to a supervisor and their return policy, they replied that we’ll let them know.
    Thanks. No more AA for me.
