The last piece of shi...uh, product that I bought from Sony was a CD-R player. Sony's attitude when the fuc...uh, lousy casing cracked a month after purchase was "customer abuse". Having the thing on my desk, never moving, and connected to the power supply and portable speakers is "abuse"? Never taking out or changing the CD in the player (600MB of MP3s) is "abuse"?
The attitude of Sony's "service" was as idiotic and annoying as Microshaft's attitude. Remember how "windows was not shut down properly" appears every time their POS OS crashes? The implication is that crashes are the user's fault, not a failure of the company or product.

Of all the companies I've found Sony to be of actual decent build quality.
I would complain that they are over priced and at times release some pretty weird and useless stuff....but then no one is making you buy them.
